Tastings come standard on nearly every listing here. The Kentucky Bourbon Experience includes tastings at three distilleries, and single-distillery tickets like Limestone Branch or the Heaven Hill Warehouse tour end with a pour.
Lengths vary by category. Single-distillery visits are the shortest: the Big Bat custom blending session at the Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory lasts 45 minutes, and most other single-site options run about an hour.
Distilleries welcome visitors year-round, so any month can work. Peak seasons fill up faster.
Full-day tours mostly start in Louisville, where Bourbon Experience, Mint Julep Experiences, B&C and Pegasus all base their departures. Walking and food tours meet downtown or in NuLu, while the Bardstown Bourbon & Food Tour and the Bardstown distillery experiences meet in Bardstown.
Day tours cover ground between stops. You ride to three or four distilleries across the region, spend 5 to 12 hours out, and pay from $180 to $289 per person.
Free cancellation applies to 16 of the 22 tours here, covering every walking and food option, every single-distillery visit, and private picks like the Expert by the Expert trip. Operators set their own cutoffs, often a day or two before departure, so confirm the terms on the live booking page.
